Diamante high-heeled shoes, I spotted them outside a hotel that made a home for lots of homeless people during the lockdown. On the walks we could, I still took photos and explored as much as I could. It was harder to find discarded items, but there were still traces of life. The hotel often had black bags full of clothes ripped open and scattered around the car park facing the beach. I loved spotting these shoes for many reasons. I love high heels, I love the whole glitter, glam vibe, and at the time, they reminded me of nights out that seemed a thing of the past. I had no idea when we could go out to clubs and restaurants again.

There are thousands of photos in my collection that will create a huge picture of our life in a section of Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, England. Owning a print will be like owning a piece of the jigsaw I have been building.

All photos will be signed by me with a note of authenticity, caption, and the date the photo was made. I am working towards making a book; every person who buys a print from me now will be sent a 6x6 image from the book/rubbish pile.
